SALES AGREEMENT & HEALTH GUARANTEE

The following agreement is between Awesome Bulldogges, hereafter referred to as "Seller," and ________________________, hereafter referred to as "Purchaser or Buyer."

The buyer agrees to purchase the puppy __________________ from the litter by Awesome Bulldogges, out of (Dam)____________________ and (Sire)_______________________, born________________________, for the amount of $______________ plus shipping of $_______________, of which five hundred dollars is a nonrefundable deposit.

The Seller transfers all rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of the    male / female    dog of the  Olde English Bulldogge  breed, to Purchaser as of the date and time specified below.

Seller guarantees the dog to be in good physical condition for the first 48 hours after the time of delivery to the buyer.  The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within 48 hours after delivery time for a complete physical examination.

In the event of emergence of any life threatening condition subsequent to the sale of the dog, Seller binds himself / herself to:

1.  Replace the dog with one of equivalent quality from the first litter bred by the Seller if:
      a)  The condition is sufficiently serious in the opinion of two
           licensed veterinarians, at least one of whom is selected by the
           Seller, to warrant euthanizing of the dog. 

2.   NO MONIES REFUNDED.  
      a)   If another pup of equal value is not available, the purchaser can:
      b)   Wait for another litter to choose one of equal quality.
      c)   Pay the added expense for a higher quality pup.
      d)   Take a lesser quality pup-with a refund in the price.


Awesome Bulldogges reserves the right of first choice from any/and all litters.

                                                                                                                                

HEALTH GUARANTEE

We guarantee the puppy to be in good health and physically sound at the time of sale. To be free from any genetic / hereditary defects that cause death or serious impairment of the vital functions in the puppy until said puppy is one year of age.

Puppy will be current on worming and vaccinations depending on age. They will be health checked by a licensed veterinarian prior to transfer of ownership.

Before the puppy leaves our home, it will have received at least 1 vaccination and wormed 2 or more times. It is the Buyers responsibility to continue scheduled vaccinations every 3 weeks until all puppy vaccinations are completed by a licensed Veterinarian. No replacement will be offered in case of Parvo, Corona, Distemper, or Kennel Cough. The pup has received proper vaccinations against these illnesses and none of these illnesses have been present at our home. 
Due to the highly contagious nature and rapid progression we cannot be held liable as the puppy may have been exposed after it left our care. It is the buyer’s responsibility to speak with a licensed veterinarian about starting heart worm prevention for their puppy. BUYER INITIAL HERE: ___________.

Puppy will only be sold if it is found to be in good health.

Buyer will pick up puppy by the time it is eight weeks old, or the puppy will be shipped by the time it is eight weeks old.

Any problems associated with hips will not be covered at all until the puppy is at least 12 months old.
Hips will then be covered until said puppy is 18 months old. If an inheritable defect is documented by a Licensed Veterinarian and presented to the seller with sufficient supporting evidence, the buyer will be entitled to a replacement puppy.  If Awesome Bulldogges agrees to replace a puppy, the buyer will be credited with the purchase price they paid for their puppy.  They will be permitted to apply the purchase price to any puppy that they like that is for sale.  If they desire a puppy that is priced more than the purchase price of their original puppy, the buyer will have to pay the balance. We do NOT refund monies at any time. 

Awesome Bulldogges will not cover shipping costs on puppies.

This guarantee is null and void if:

Your dog has been used in any canine sports (i.e. weight pulling, protection work etc.), mistreated, malnourished, or abused And / or bred before 1 year of age.
Guarantee is non transferable. 

It is understood that at the time of this sale the puppy is not considered to be of show quality or breeding quality. But it is represented as its breed and is suited as pet quality only.

The new owner has 48 hours in which to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice.

1. If something is wrong with the pup that was wrong at the time of purchase, the new owner has several options as stated in purchase agreement.

2. If the new owner wishes to keep the pup and have the problem treated themselves, they may do so but will forfeit all rights to a replacement puppy.

WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR PAY FOR ANY VETERINARIAN BILLS.
ALL VETERINARY AND MEDICAL SUPPLY BILLS ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER FROM DATE OF SALE THENCE FORTH
                                                                                                                               
ANY COST INCURRED IN RETURNING DOG TO SELLER WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER.

IF A SEVERE PROBLEM DEVELOPS DURING THOSE 48 HOURS, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY AND OUR PERMISSION GIVEN IF EUTHENASIA IS SUGGESTED BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN.
                                                                                                                                
THE DOCUMENTATION MUST BE FROM TWO LICENSED VETERINARIANS FROM DIFFERENT CLINICS STATING THE CAUSE OF DEATH. THE DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SELLER IMMEDIATELY.


In case of death in 48 hours, these three things must be furnished to the Seller:

1. A statement from 2 licensed Veterinarians, as the cause of death being something the pup had at the time of sale.

2. CKC, IOEBA, or other registration papers, along with all other papers pertaining to the puppy.

3. The puppy if requested by seller.

Purchaser will be entitled to a replacement puppy from that litter or the next available litter if none are available. If puppy is altered in any form, Purchaser loses right of this guarantee. Seller is not responsible for illness, defects, or conditions caused by purchasers neglect, abuse, breeding, improper nutrition, participation in competition, mishandling or injuries to puppy by those conditions. 

Pups are current on their vaccinations including- hepatitis, parainfluenza, Distemper, Parvo-Corona and Leptospirosis when they leave Awesome Bulldogges.  Your pup will need to get several more when the pup gets a bit older.  Speak with your vet about what is appropriate for your area.  Just because a puppy is current on vaccinations, this does not mean he is immune.  You will be given your Puppy Shot Records with your dog. This will detail what vaccinations and worming the pup has had and when.  

This guarantee does not cover what in the Bulldogge breed some may consider normal or beyond our control : i.e. Cherry eyes, entropian, “loose” hips, stenotic nares (loud sounding or “sniffing” sound when breathing). We cannot guarantee that the dog will not contract mange.  Mange is a multifunctional genetic disease that can be transmitted in a recessive manner.  There is much dispute between experts as to the differing specific causes of mange, including environment, stress and nutrition. Therefore we cannot guarantee against it.  We are not geneticists and cannot predict genetic problems. Many believe that diet, stress and surroundings play the biggest part in mange and we have no way of ensuring that a buyer is taking proper care of the dog. 
                                                                                                                              
We do not breed dogs with undesirable conditions such as mange, but we cannot guarantee that previous generations did not have these conditions in their lines, unbeknownst to us. 

There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to breed or show the dog purchased regardless of show or breeding potential.

This guarantee is not transferable from the original purchaser.
                                                                                                                                                                           
The Buyer and Seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this puppy. Any agreement made prior to this is considered incorporated herein and any modifications made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective

By signing this agreement, you, the Buyer have read and fully understand your responsibilities and agree to all of the terms above.
